Participants will explore how to balance accountability with compassion, transform mistakes into learning opportunities, and drive organizational growth and safety performance.

  • Phase 02 – Supervisor Leadership Training, 4 Levels: You may only choose to do the first level (Bronze), but each one is a prerequisite for the next level. Bronze, Silver, Gold, Master.
  • Phase 03 – Certification Phase: Final culture survey, performance review and setting up for success.

With over 20 years of experience, she has developed a deep understanding of the organizational factors behind why incidents occur, giving her unique insights into creating safer, more effective work environments. Her work has taken her across Africa, North America, and South America, earning her a reputation for excellence in training, consulting, and investigation.

As a key architect of Safeworx’s fair and just culture training programs, Mary-Jane has integrated Human Organizational Performance principles into her approach. By combining her expertise in human factors, organizational system design, and fair and just culture, she helps organizations build environments where trust, accountability, and safety thrive. These programs directly support Safeworx’s mission to empower supervisors with the tools they need to lead their teams effectively and safely and provider managers with the tools to support performance improvement.

Mary-Jane’s experience includes implementing leadership certification processes that drive measurable improvements in team performance and safety outcomes. She has also developed and facilitated risk management plans, implemented and audited EHS management systems, and designed emergency and crisis management plans. Her work in environmental and social impact assessments has further demonstrated her ability to engage with diverse stakeholders, from local communities to corporate leaders, ensuring practical and sustainable solutions.

Now based in Canada, Mary-Jane continues to support Safeworx’s clients with her expertise in human factors and leadership development. Ivan Rigoletto brings over 25 years of expertise in leadership, environmental health, safety, and sustainable development, with a focus on Latin America’s chemical and mining sectors. A chemical engineer with a Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering, Ivan has held executive roles where he successfully implemented strategies to enhance safety culture, build strong teams, and improve organizational performance.

Starting his career on the shop floor, Ivan worked his way up to senior leadership positions, managing teams of up to 1,000 employees and training more than 3,000 individuals in safety management and leadership development. As the Director of Environment, Health, and Safety for PPG Coatings in Latin America, he oversaw operations spanning seven countries. Later, as Health, Safety, and Sustainable Development Director for South America at Yamana Gold, Ivan spearheaded initiatives to strengthen safety leadership and establish sustainable development frameworks.

Currently, Ivan leverages his extensive experience to support the design and delivery of Safeworx programs, including the Supervisor Safety Accelerator, Supervisor 101, and Fair and Just Culture. His expertise in team leadership, safety systems implementation, and cultural transformation provides Safeworx clients with practical tools and strategies to build resilient, high-performing supervisors and teams.

In addition to his professional achievements, Ivan is a senior researcher at the University of Brasília, an MBA professor, and the co-author of 16 books, one of which earned the prestigious Jabuti Award, Brazil’s top literary honor.

Ivan lives in Campinas, Brazil, with his wife, Angela, and their two children. His daughter, Mariana, is a journalist, and his son, Pedro, is pursuing a degree in mechanical engineering. A passionate advocate for leadership development, Ivan is deeply committed to fostering safer, more effective workplaces.
